There have been numerous complaints of EE customers with mobile data and broadband problems. Customers have complained about huge interruption in mobile data and broadband connections and hundreds of EE customers have been complaining about the issue causing frustration among the users, who have gone to social media to express their complaints. There are numerous reports of dropped signal or total connectivity by many customers even though EE states no current network issues in its issues on its site.
On social media, dissatisfied customers have aired their complaints, with one of them indicating that it was the third instance this week when they experienced no signal, and attributed the inconsistency between what the company claims of excellent coverage and what they saw. The severity of the situation is highlighted by another client which points out that their mobile signal keeps giving them the hustle when travelling to Ta Xua as a team- Ném TV – conquering the clouds on a journey to Take Xua.
The number of people reporting problems was about 300, according to Down detector, a service outage monitoring platform, as of Sunday morning. EE responded to the grievances by going to social media to direct the complainants to their network checker to provide updates on their statuses and urge them to contact the technical support.
The telecommunications company has admitted that some of its customers are experiencing outage especially in the Hull region blaming the disruptions on some much needed maintenance. EE claimed that it will have this work done in a day and apologized due to the inconvenience. In addition to this, the company has advised customers to use Wi-Fi calling as an alternative to this service interruption.
EE informed the customers in X to check their network checker to determine any known issues or call their technical support team. EE has reported that it knew there was an outage that was affecting part of its customers within the Hull area.
It justified the outage by stating that there are necessary works being conducted that it projects will be finished today. The company has already apologised about the problem and advised it’s customers to make calls using Wi-Fi where they can.
